Carlos Ly

About me

My name is Carlos, I am a support worker who has spent the past year and half working with mostly children and teenagers, helping them become more confident, build life skills and live more fulfilling lives. I bring a friendly personality and love seeing people reach their full potential.  I have just moved to the Geelong area after living in Bendigo for 22 years. I am completing my first Social Work placement here at Lemon Drops Kids Therapy.

My approach

I like to allow participants to lead sessions and tailor my approach to support people reaching their goals.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Hobbies/Interests

I really enjoy exercising and playing all kinds of sports. I love watching the AFL, NBA and cricket during the summer. I love to cook (not the greatest chef but I am working on it) and enjoy eating even more. I have just started travelling more and will be going to Japan next year.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Paramedic Practice with Honours (La Trobe University Bendigo)

Currently studying Master of Social Work through University of Canberra
