Fee Schedule
At Lemon Drops Kids Therapy, our individual therapeutic sessions are designed to provide thoughtful, tailored support for children, young people, and their families.
Each individual therapy appointment includes both direct therapy time and the clinical work required before and after the session to support safe, ethical, and effective care. This means your session fee covers the full therapeutic service, not only the time spent face-to-face with your child or young person.
For every individual therapy session, this includes:
• direct therapeutic work with your child or young person
• session notes and clinical documentation
• clinical reflection and planning
• preparation for your child or young person’s ongoing therapeutic goals
Depending on your child’s needs, the session may also include:
• caregiver check-ins
• email correspondence related to the therapeutic treatment plan
• communication with schools, support workers, GPs, or other allied health professionals
• additional planning or preparation to support therapy
Therapy can look different from week to week depending on your child’s needs, presentation, and progress. Some sessions may involve more direct child work, while others may require more caregiver communication, planning, documentation, or professional collaboration. All of these parts are important in supporting your child’s therapeutic care.
Self Funded
Intake Appointment: $250
Standard Therapy Session: $190
Caregiver Support Session: $190
Sibling Session: $240
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Session: $210
Medicare Rebates
Some clients may be eligible to access Medicare rebates when seeing an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker under a current Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP.
Where a Medicare rebate applies, the Accredited Mental Health Social Worker session fee is $210. This fee reflects the Medicare-rebatable service pathway, including the additional clinical requirements and related GP correspondence associated with Mental Health Treatment Plans.
Families will be informed of the applicable rebate and expected out-of-pocket cost before commencing Medicare-rebatable sessions.
Please note that Medicare eligibility, referral requirements, and the number of available rebated sessions are determined by Medicare and the referring GP.
External Supervision
External Supervision: $180 per hour
Outreach
Outreach appointments are charged at $190 per hour, plus travel.
Travel fees are calculated on an individual basis depending on location and time required. Families will be advised of any travel costs before outreach services are confirmed.
NDIS
NDIS services are billed in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
The applicable fee is determined by the relevant NDIS support item, which may vary depending on the type of service provided and the participant’s circumstances.

Reports and Documentation
Occasionally, families may request written reports or additional documentation for schools, funding bodies, medical professionals, legal processes, or other supports.
Reports and documentation are billed at the relevant hourly therapy rate.
The time required will depend on the length, detail, and complexity of the request. Please allow 2–4 weeks for report preparation.
All report and documentation requests must be made in writing.
Court and Legal Matters
If a court appearance, subpoena response, legal report, or other legal involvement is required, fees will be charged for all preparation, documentation, travel, correspondence, and attendance time.
These matters are billed at the therapist’s hourly rate unless otherwise advised.
