Jack Wilby
About Me
Hi Iām Jack. I spend my time with my partner and my dog Narla, with friends, at the gym, doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, surfing, watching sport, movies or YouTube and my favourite thing - eating.
My Approach
I'm passionate about the mental health of young people in an ever more confusing and challenging world to grow up in. I've spent the last 2.5 years running school-based mental health workshops with VIC based charity 'The Man Cave' and in that time I've built an understanding of the challenges young people are going through at the moment. Through that understanding I try to meet young people where they're at - fostering a real and legitimate connection and delving into their internal worlds to help build self-awareness, resilience and hope for their future.
Hobbies and Interests
I have a wide range of interests so I use that range to find a way to authentically connect with young people. If you're into basketball or footy, we can go and shoot hoops or have a kick, if you're into video games we can talk gaming, if you're into music or art - I'm your guy there too.
Who I Work With
My expertise lies in teenagers and young people, so anywhere from ages 10-25 is welcome.
