1-1 Therapy For Individual Students

Some students may benefit from more individualised therapeutic support to build on their strengths, develop confidence and feel more settled and connected within the school environment. We can provide therapy onsite at your school, making support accessible within a familiar setting. This tailored approach can help students strengthen their wellbeing, participation and capacity to engage in learning, while also supporting a positive and connected classroom environment.

Through our therapeutic approaches, children are supported to express and explore their experiences in ways that feel safe, natural and developmentally appropriate. Using play, creativity, symbols and metaphor, they can make sense of emotions, thoughts and experiences while building self-awareness, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Students may be supported to develop:

  • Greater understanding of their emotions, experiences and responses

  • Increased self-awareness and awareness of others

  • Healthier ways of communicating, connecting and managing relationships

  • Improved confidence, self-esteem and willingness to participate

  • Stronger emotional regulation within the classroom and school environment

  • Increased capacity to manage challenges, transitions and change

  • More effective problem-solving, cooperation and collaboration skills

  • Greater flexibility, resilience and readiness to engage in learning

These skills can support students to feel safer, more connected and better able to participate positively in classroom routines, peer relationships and learning.
