About Me
I’m a Surf Coast father of three and step-parent to a teen, and I’ve spent the past two decades working alongside children and families in different ways — as a sports coach, youth trainer and mentor, and now as a play and family therapist. These experiences have given me a deep respect for how kids learn, grow, and connect when they feel supported and understood.
Through Play Therapy, Family Play Therapy, and parent-focused work, I support kids, teens, and parents to strengthen relationships, build emotional confidence, and navigate the messy, beautiful parts of family life together. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical — always centred on real connection and what works for each unique family.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and the belief that every person and family has the capacity to heal and thrive. I take time to get to know each child, teen, and parent as they are and tailor sessions to meet their needs.
In therapy, I aim to create a space that’s safe, neuro-affirming, and real. It’s not about fixing anyone — it’s about helping people feel seen, heard, and supported so they can show up as themselves, both in therapy and at home.
Who I work with
Children aged 3+ — helping them express emotions and make sense of their world through play.
Families & sibling groups — using Family Play Therapy to deepen connection and build emotional safety together.
Adolescents — supporting teens as they navigate identity, confidence, relationships, and life’s ups and downs.
Hobbies/Interests
Outside of work, I’m a musician, a bit of a sports nerd, and love spending time outdoors — especially near the ocean. I’m passionate about creativity, connection, and how we grow through the relationships that shape us.
