Vineeta Giri

About Me
Hi, I’m Vineeta, a child and family therapist who is passionate about supporting children and their families to feel safe, connected, and confident. My journey into therapy began with my own love for creative expression and storytelling, and I’ve found that these tools help children explore their feelings in ways that words alone sometimes can’t.

My Approach
I take a child-centred and playful approach, creating a warm and safe space where children can express themselves freely. I believe every child has unique strengths, and I work closely with families to nurture those strengths while building resilience and coping strategies. My work is guided by compassion, curiosity, and the belief that small steps can create meaningful change.

Who I Work With
I work with children aged 2–12 years and their families, including siblings. I also provide parent support sessions to strengthen their capacity and confidence in supporting their child’s growth and wellbeing. I am particularly passionate about working with this age group because I believe in the importance of early intervention in laying the foundations for lifelong wellbeing.

Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, I love painting, exploring nature trails, and discovering new books. Creative expression and being outdoors help me recharge, and I often weave elements of these interests into my therapeutic work with children.
